Our knowledge of complex building designs for the food industry gives Pensar Group the advantage when it comes to the demands of similarly regulated and environmentally intense facilities, such as required in the Cannabis industry.

These projects consist of various construction models such as fully designed greenfield facilities, combinations of brownfield renovations and/or additions, and pre-fabricated structures. Many of these projects are also being rolled out as a phased construction and expansion models.

Extraction

Our extensive experience in the food processing industry, has made the understanding of highly complex facility design criteria an easily adaptable service set that translates to designs for further processing systems such as extraction installations, and various cannabis infusion products.

Pensar Group has also designed oil extraction spaces for licensed cultivators, with respect to lab and support space, production area and final processing and are familiar with the provincial and local codes regarding these facilities. These areas present challenges relating to specific building code, fire code and technical services assessments that are often not considered.

The design of extraction facilities is complex and unique. It takes an engineering firm with specific knowledge of the multitude of extraction process equipment and operational procedures to ensure a safe, effective, efficient and economical facility design.
